Many businessmen and women from Thailand go to the US each year for the purpose of attending conferences and seminars. A business visa was designed to accommodate this type of travel. A United States Business Visa is very similar to the US Tourist Visa. The presumption of intention to remain in the United States must be overcome by the Thai visa applicant. A DS-156 visa application form must be filled out by the Thai visa applicant. The Thai applicant should also collect the relevant documentation required by the consular officials at the US Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand. Once the application is filled out and the documents collected, the applicant should make an appointment at the US Embassy in Bangkok. An interview will be conducted and then the visa application will either be denied or accepted.
